Sunday Worship at 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Youth are encouraged to attend worship regularly and to take leadership roles as invited: singing in the choir, providing special music, ushering, serving communion or reading the Scripture.

Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. Youth Sunday school meets in Room 212, also known as the Parking Lot. Teachers give the youth opportunity to ask questions as they grow in their own faith and relate the Bible to their daily world experiences.

United Methodist Youth: UMY (grades 6-12) meets each Sunday evening for study, worship, service and/or fellowship. Various activities are planned for each Sunday evening's program jointly by the youth and their sponsors.  United Methodist Youth meet Sundays from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. 

Senior Graduation Recognition: Each spring prior to high school graduation seniors and their families are guests at a Senior Breakfast. The seniors are then invited to wear their caps and robes as they process into the late worship service where they are recognized for their accomplishments and given a youth study Bible. Upon graduation they are invited to be a part of the University group that meets in Room 212 each Sunday for lunch following the late worship service.

Summer Camps: Camping scholarships are available upon request.

Spirit Wind: The Northwest Texas Annual Conference Youth Choir annually tours the conference giving concerts of classical and contemporary music to churches large and small. In addition a major tour is planned every 2-3 years. Auditions are held each spring for youth going into the 9th grade through those who have just graduated from the 12th. St. John's activly participates by hosting the choir for rehearsals and concerts each year.

Youth Ski Trip and Youth Week: Every other year the youth go skiing in Colorado sometime during the Christmas break. On the off years they invite a guest to lead them in a week of special events and lessons.

Opportunities for Mission: Youth are invited to be teen mentors to the Confirmation Class as well as to serve as assistants in Vacation Bible School and the Children's Summer Music Camp. Several times each year the youth participate in mission/outreach projects: cleaning at the Ronald McDonald House, walking dogs at the shelter, collecting canned goods for the church's food pantry, Christmas caroling to shut-ins, helping with the Children's Annual Easter Egg Hunt, canvassing the neighborhood leaving fliers concerning church programs and invitations to worship, playing with children in our church with the Family Promise program, or serving Sunday supper at the Hope Community of Shalom.

Parking for Texas Tech University Football Games: Youth have an opportunity to earn money for camp, trips and activities by working the parking lot during Tech's home football games.
