Legal Clinic
The Legal Clinic was established at Saint John's to help us
serve a variety of people with their legal needs. This clinic is
open to low-income people to assist them with legal areas in family
issues, housing problems, government benefits, consumer issues, and
other civil problems. The clinic does not handle criminal
cases.
The services are free, but clients may be required to pay filing
fees and court costs. The lawyers are volunteers.
The Saint John's Legal Clinic is a joint project of Saint John's
and the Lubbock County Bar Association, in conjunction with West
Texas Legal Services' Private Attorney Involvement Program.
The Clinic meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.-7:30
p.m. in the St. John's Garden Room. Contact the church office at
762-0123 or for more information contact the Private Attorney
Involvement Program at 763-4557.
