A Note About our Finances
‘Tis the Season to Celebrate!
As a congregation we have many blessings to celebrate. I want to share a particularly joyous event that we should all celebrate.
In a few days you will begin to notice some changes occurring in and around the Garden Room. Workmen will begin to remove the old heating and cooling equipment in the Garden Room and replace it with a state of the art HVAC system. The new system will isolate the Garden Room in its own heating and cooling zone. This will give us more control, more comfort and more flexibility in maintaining a pleasant space within our church.
It seems that nothing good comes without a little suffering. For a few weeks, we will endure some inconvenience. There will be dust and noise during the day. We will not have the use of the Garden Room for a few weeks.
While this renovation is a reason for celebration in itself, it is not my reason for wishing us all to celebrate together.
The real reason for joyous celebration is, because of your devotion to our mission and because of the diligent stewardship of the Trustees, this entire project will be accomplished and PAID IN FULL.
So, during this time of celebration and joy, know that because you are a caring and involved congregation, we are moving forward with our missions and ministries.
Peace and joy to you all,
Dennis K. Howard
